Here you will find a variety of images that mean an enormous amount to me in a multitude of ways: some hold an emotional pull, some have been challenging to produce whilst some are of places that hold a special memory for me. What I do hope, however, is that they appeal as much to you when you view them as they did to me when I produced them.
I suppose I could describe myself as a landscape photographer these days as I have a real passion for the great outdoors and the British countryside, which I hope comes across in my photographs. However, I really don't like labels so, rather than call myself a landscape photographer per se, I guess what I really do is look for things in the landscape - buildings, trees, water courses, people - that really make a "landscape" image worthwhile.
You will, of course, find other types of image here too, all of which confirm my passion for photography as a genuine art form and a method of self-expression.
My style, as with any other serious photographer, is always developing and, I hope, progressing. The only way to find out if this is true is to get feedback about your images.
